I'm diabetic so I check my blood glucose several times a day, as you can see.
These three fingers are obviously my favourites for checking my blood glucose. Diabetes Awareness Community Projects: November- Diabetes Awareness I'm so thankful for getting this as a DD. It really made me smile, but the reason for being so thankful is mainly because of all the people who suffer from diabetes and all the people who don't know anything about it. It feels like I got the chance today to show more people how diabetes can even effect the smallest things in life. It makes it even more special that it's 11-14 today, World Diabetes Day! Thank you (: Daily DeviationGiven 2009-11-14the painful truth by ~xMelissa will be recognizable to anyone with diabetes. It's a touching self-portrait and conveys how diabetes can destroy your eyes, liver, nerves, feet, kidneys, and countless other things but it can even scar your fingers, due to the blood testing every diabetic must do.
